Two screens, one clean desk

A dual monitor arm holds both of your screens side by side at a matched height and angle, which is hard to get right with two separate stands. Set each screen where your neck wants it, then turn one to portrait when you need it. The arm clamps to the desk so the surface stays clear, and a removable back channel keeps your cables tidy. How do I adjust the monitor arm?

Assuming that you have the monitor onto the arm and it's fully installed - You can adjust it by moving it around up down left right, it should be fully adjustable.

If you're referring to moving the monitor down, there is an obvious screw right in the base of the monitor mount facing towards the ceiling that tells you to turn left or right that controls the pressure of the gas spring.

If the monitor is being pushed down and it automatically pushes back up, loosen the gas spring. If it's drooping down and it seems as though there isn’t enough pressure to keep it standing up, increase the gas spring pressure.

Can't handle weight? UPDATED

Original review, see update below: I run two 27" gaming monitors, and these arms can't even handle a 12 lb monitor each, their tilt gives out and I'm left with a monitor facing down at my desk. Pretty disappointing. I've tried both arms as well and it's the same result. I purchased this dual arm over the other because it stated it could handle up to 32" monitors, so you'd imagine the weight of a 27" monitor wouldn't be an issue. You'd be wrong, like I was. Another note, the clips at the base of the mount that hold the cables in place is attached really flimsily, and pop off easily. Sure would have liked this system to work for me as the actual arm build quality is great, but I'm out of luck. Pictured is my monitor facing downward despite starting with a slight upward tilt, and tightened with the allen key so tight that my hands hurt.

UPDATE: So with some investigation I have determined that the reason the monitor arm tilt can't handle my G7's weight (which is apparently 12.1lbs) despite it's 19lb rating is likely because of the monitor's extreme curve and therefore significantly changed center of gravity in relation to the position of the VESA mount on the back. These monitor mount arms can hold my 14lb, 32" flat panel LG monitor no problem at any tilt angle, so the change in center of gravity for my G7 is likely enough to turn my 12.1 lbs into something the arm can't manage. So really, just be conscious of this if you intend to mount curved screens!

I've changed my review to 4 stars because after buying other mount arms I can attest to the quality of these: they're great. Full metal build, and the dual gas arm design is great. The only gripe I still have is the lack of tension in the lower cable clips that attach to the base of the arms, they just don't take any pressure before getting popped off. Cheers

I just reached out to you via email and how to fix this. The monitor arms would easily be able to handle the weight and size of your 27' monitors. Are arms are calibrated for the average monitors so any sizes or weights deviating too far from the average just needs to be calibrated. In your picture and at the of the monitor arm, you can see a silver screw with left and turn arrows on it. Please just give that a couple cranks to tighten it and thatll solve all your issues!

Great desk, lifts 2 monitors, easy to set up and built in cable management is great. Would recommend.

Sturdy high quality

This worked great to hold my Samsung 32" curved monitor and Dell 24" in portrait mode.

I have to tighten the tilt as hard as I can... Wouldn't go much heavier with a curved monitor then 12lkbs

Unexpectedly solid

I was surprised how solid these arms were. Seem very heavy duty.

Holds a Apple Studio Display and MacBookPro no problem after fine tuning the weight adjustment with the provided Allen key. Cable management channels are a nice touch.

Would buy again, but I doubt that I’ll need to!

I ordered my first standing desk with Effy Desk along with the dual Monitor arms. I loved the easy installation guide and the quality it came with. Unfortunately, my desk was damaged due to the negligence of the courier, UPS. Hannah was very responsive and helped me with a second table top. And once again, the table top came damaged from UPS throwing the desk on my doorstep.

My overall experience with Effydesk and Hannah was fantastic. However, I now have to source my actual table top locally.
