While searching for a new office/gaming chair, I stumbled upon the EffyDesk brand and saw their presence on social media at the time. Searched their inventory and the AeryChair caught my eye. Upon further research, the showroom was located locally and emailed the EffyDesk from their contact information. Within a hours of emailing them, I was in contact with a sales rep, Ranvi. And told me to drop by at my earliest convenience. I was able to visit the showroom in Coquitlam the next day and got to see the showroom models and try the chairs out and dealt with Brock.
I was told to order the AeryChair through Best Buy Canada, since at the time of purchase, the chair was cheaper through Best Buy Canada. Saved me $218 by doing that. So that was nice of the sales rep to give me that option. Once I ordered it online, EffyDesk confirmed on their end, that my order was confirmed. Went home with the chair since it was fulfilled on EffyDesks side. Didn't have to worry about them shipping it to my home. Very convenient. And was glad I was able to fit the box into my vehicle.
As for the chair, it has held up thus far. Quality still very much the same as when I got it home. Cushioning could be better but it's much better than my previous Staples chair with the "tempurpedic" cushion that was very hard and not forgiving on my butt. The AeryChair gets the job done for my usage of light gaming and heavily work tasks that see me on my chair for 3-4 hours a week. I'm about 5'5" and the eight adjustments are more than enough in situations that require proper ergonomics in front of my screen and while I'm wearing footwear or not, the adjustability is there for all situations. I wish the 4D armrests were a bit better. Though they can move in different directions (forwards, backwards, side to side) it's very limited and they don't lock in those set positions. They often float and don't stay in the desired place. The lumbar support adjustments are okay too. For my usage and height, it got the job done.
I love the return policy they give you if the chair isn't up to your standards. For a little fee, you can send it back to EffyDesk (within the time frame they give you. I believe it's 30 days).
I do recommend the AeryChair, and if they do make some fine adjustments to this chair, I may purchase it once again. Until then, it's still going on strong. It's not perfect but it's good enough for the price.
I got the Effy hardwood desk in the pheasant wood finish with the longest desktop, and it looks better in person, warm tone and real wood grain instead of a printed surface. The desktop is thick and feels like actual furniture. Assembly took effort because it’s heavy, but everything lined up well, and the motors are pretty quiet during height adjustments.
There’s a bit of wobble at the highest height (expected), while sitting height is stable. The built-in wireless charger is convenient but does warm up my phone, possibly the phone itself and the wood not dissipating heat well.
Overall, it feels durable and a clear upgrade from particleboard desks without getting into custom-furniture pricing.
I purchased this desk through a third-party supplier, and unfortunately, the order was initially incorrect. However, when I reached out to Effydesk directly, their team handled the situation promptly and professionally, ensuring everything was resolved to my satisfaction.
The desk itself is exceptional—featuring a beautiful, solid wood top and a sturdy metal frame that feels premium and well-crafted. The overall quality and design exceeded my expectations.
The only minor challenge I encountered was during assembly, specifically when attaching the crossbar to the legs. The process requires inserting a bolt through a larger opening into a smaller one, which can be tricky for individuals with larger hands. A helpful improvement might be to include a magnetic Allen key to make this step easier.
Aside from that, I am extremely pleased with my desk and the outstanding customer service I received. I plan to purchase a set of dual monitor arms soon and will definitely be ordering them from Effydesk.

I did a research comparing 4 different brands of standing desk and Im very pleased of my decision. The wood is beautiful, the motor works perfectly and the delivery it’s so caring attentive.
I am very satisfied with the Nimble Standing Desk. I love its look, it feels nice and smooth to the touch, the materials seem solid. Its ease of use really supports healthy work habits. Very happy how this purchase adds to my everyday life quality!

The wood doesn't feel quite as nice as a Fully desk, but I think Effy is a much better value overall.
One suggestion is to improve the instruction manual illustration photos. They're okay...but not great.
Solid desk. I have a 4 monitor setup and the table lift without any problem and no wobbles. Impressive! I also appreciate the cellphone charging station built-in the table(invisible, but it's there on the left side!) Assembly is hard on the fingers though.
I got the Terra table. Awesome look and feel. Very sturdy and I have no worries about spilled coffee since it's wood.
There is a slight problem with a misaligned piece right now and the finish. It doesn't affect the solidity, but maybe the longevity. Currently talking with customer support, we'll see how it goes. Leaving 3 stars for the moment until I get the final resolution.

This desk is incredible and exceeded my expectations in all shapes and forms. The quality feels incredible. It looks awesome, for a first-timer user of a stand-up desk, it makes me fall in love with this. I can't emphasize enough how happy I am about the desk itself! If there is only one thing I could say they would benefit from improving a little is the instructions, some steps were a bit open to interpretation and added a few minutes because I had to unscrew a few things and re-do them, once I realized my mistake. But that extra 15m it took me to build it is already forgotten!
Hello, I’m very happy with the quality of the frame. I have a walnut countertop measuring 70" x 36" x 1.5", with 3 monitors and my PC on top, and I’m very impressed with the stability of the desk—even at standing height. The instructions to assemble the base could be clearer and better made, but between you and me, the most important thing is the quality of the product itself.
After a lot of research, I decided to go with this frame because I had seen the good reviews, the price was the lowest relative to the quality, and there were also discount coupons available. If you're a student, don’t forget to activate the code for a 15% discount.
The box arrived very damaged, but I understand it traveled from BC to Quebec, so it’s not surprising. Fortunately, nothing inside was damaged or missing. The welds seem well done, and as I said, in terms of value for money, you really can’t go wrong—especially with the 10-year warranty and the 310 lb weight capacity of the frame.
It’s easy to assemble, though the instructions could definitely be more user-friendly. A nice bonus is the wire rack that comes with the frame—a great addition to the desk.
I have been using this chair for almost 2 weeks now, it is so comfortable and worth the hype. I literally feel like no more pain on my back and so many vast adjustments for back, neck and hands make it easier to work.
I recommend this chair to everyone as its worth the money to spend on our health if you have a long hour of sitting job.
I've had my Effydesk for about two weeks now and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The build quality is top-notch – the metal frame is very sturdy and stable, and the tabletop feels solid and well-made. The up/down mechanism works flawlessly – smooth, quiet, and reliable every time.
I also had a great experience with customer service when I reached out with a quick question. They were responsive and super helpful.
If I had one suggestion, it would be to improve the installation manual. The font and images are quite small and hard to decipher, so it took some extra patience to assemble. But once everything was in place, the final result was well worth the effort.

Currently loving my effydesk, only thing I’d flag is that the wooden top came with a minor chip on it (could have happened during the transfer of the product) but otherwise so far so good.
The desk is beautiful. I really do love it. I would like to say that customer service has been very timely and helpful. However.. I ordered this desk back at the beginning of Jan. It was supposed to ship out first week of feb. I had not received an email stating it had shipped by the 2nd week of feb, so I reached out. They informed me it would be a couple more weeks. No issues waiting, but that could have been communicated without me having to ask.
The desk finally shipped out. It had a crack in it, and wood filler in part of it. I reached out to customer service. I did end up getting a replacement top after they checked with engineering. Or I could have kept the top and get an 80 dollar credit. Just a long process (2 weeks) to get it shipped out.
I was originally told they would ship me a return label for the original top, so I kept it hanging around in my small apartment. They shipped out the replacement right away, but no word about the return. I had to ask customer service about it for them to tell me they don't want it back and to keep it (what am I going to do with this top).
Building the desk was a bit of work. I found the instructions very small and not super helpful. Then today I reached out because I couldn't get the wireless charger working. Turns out they didn't send me all the instructions and for me to hook up the wireless charger I need to dismantle part of my desk. This has just taken up so much time and has been a pain. If I were to do it again I'm not sure I would.
Great desk and very beautiful. Assembly instructions were a bit confusing and it took several hours to set it up. But I’m very pleased with it! Worth the time and money, I’d say.
Excellent quality on desks, I purchased the wildwood walnut standing desk, and honestly I was impressed I love it, it exceeded my expectations, is very sturdy and the double motors are quiet and great finish overall in this desk.
Solid frame, runs smoothly (and quietly) with the ability to set the desk at preset heights. Build quality is very good; I’m pleasantly surprised given it was very affordable. Assembly was straightforward (took about 30 minutes) with clear instructions. The delivery took a few weeks but it was worth the wait. Very happy with our purchase.

By far the best part of my home workspace (if not the most beautiful piece furniture I own). Purchased the small Pheasantwood Office (Wildwood) desk, plus the single monitor arm. A standing desk was recommendation by a medical doctor, but it was wonderful to find such a beautiful product by a Canadian company.
The perfect desk for a small office (or very small space). Transitions from/to sit-stand are incredibly smooth and very quiet. Standing & working at it extremely comfortable (though standing more often than normal takes some getting used to!). The monitor arm (now dubbed “my airplane arm”) is brilliant and a must-have for easier transitions between heights.
My only suggestions for improvement would be: 1. A few less beeps to indicate the “stand reminder”. I love the reminder, but 5 beeps seems excessive as they are fairly loud. And 2. Rethink the location or direction the cable tray faces. The tray is indispensable and holds every charger/hub I need (except a power bar), but I always bang my knees on the edge of the cable tray when in sitting position and means I’ll likely switch it, facing to the back, if I purchase the wheels (meaning it won’t be under the control box for that extra safety measure).
Like other reviewers, the boxes were fairly mangled upon arrival. It was also raining the day it arrived so boxes were soaked through in some spots. Also didn’t receive the requested delivery receipt email from CanPar, so the boxes were in the rain longer than I’d like. Of course, none of that is EffyDesk’s fault and the packaging was so well thought out (although maybe not all environmentally wise) that surprisingly, there was no noticeable damage to the desk at all.
Instructions were confusing in terms of three things: 1. which crossbar faces which, to use the sliders for the control box properly (the written explanation was not as clear as it could be). So, assembly (disassembly-reassembly!) took longer than I hoped doing it alone (5 hrs). Like others, needed help to stand it up in a small space so as not to damage the table top as the desk is super heavy; 2. There were no instructions for setting up the in-desk keypad (only for the attachable one). So, no explanation as to what the extra cable coming from the in-desk keypad was meant to connect to. Nor was there anything about whether the grooves on the bottom of the desk were meant to fit the cable for the phone charger. Nor about whether the wire could go in the groove and fit between the desktop & the side bracket (Operation Guide is also only for the attachable key pad, though more or less the same with one less setting option); and 3. The cable management tray. Installation was bit confusing as to which crossbar was the best place to put the tray hangers.
Still, now that I know what I’m doing, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase a second EffyDesk for the office for someone else in the family! It’s really such an incredible addition. Looking forward to standing a lot more. No more laptop on a pile of books! I could have used this desk 10 yrs ago!
As an older person, I have had the opportunity to experience and work in the office, construction, design, and fabricating environments over the years. As a recent retired Technology Teacher, I decided to design and build a new den, computer, and standup desk. A place I can read, relax, design, research, admin, media, and game. I decided on a floating shelf, book cases, computer from scratch, and the main structural feature, a standing desk.
I did a lot of research on who I was going to use, for the standup desk frame, and ended up with EffyDesk as part of this project because of their top specs, operation, warranty, customer service, and also that I was able to get a very competitive price during one of their sales. As I purchased on sale, but was not able to receive it right away, EffyDesk was able to delay the shipping till I was ready to receive it.
The table size was determined by what the EffyDesk frame could handle, the three monitors, and the room size, as the table was going to be the main feature of this den. I bought two Acacia butcher blocks to make a L shaped desk. I had used doweling to glue together and a lot of router work for under table, edge LED lighting, space for 4 table top stiffeners to prevent any future warping, and a railing system for flight stick mounts. I also customized with 3 cut-outs for multiple power sources and 8 cable access points. Although they do provide a nice centre cable tray, I opted for my own cable tracks at the back and sides – two different sizes to keep cables clean and organized, as I have a lot of cables for power and control routing under the desk.
I have been using the table for over half a year now and I can tell you it is a great standing table system. It is simple to use with its controls, very strong with the three motors, dependable, and instructions were easy to follow when putting together, very easy do and follow. One thing I did differently than the instructions to make it even easier to put together, once I had it all put together upside down on my custom table with everything tightened down and screws into table, I just flipped the frame without the table top attached (unscrewed the table from the frame first), then I flipped the table top, as both were heavy individually, but a lot lighter than trying to flip both the table and frame at the same time. This way I was able to do it with a couple of light hands from my wife, rather than having to bother one of my strong neighbors.
Every day use, I normally use two positions at sitting and standing, although I will be adding a third in the 4-memory button controller for gaming with my flight sticks once I get them installed. The motors are really good as they take 10 seconds to change from sit to stand or vice versa and are relatively quiet as my wife barely hears it when in the next room. The materials and fasteners are of excellent quality, while the frame is heavy duty. I also purchased the cam wheels with locks that they also sell for easy moving and locking the table into position. Frame finish is a durable paint which I have not seen any chipping or issues. The motors have a slight ramp up in speed as it starts to move from one position to another, so no sudden jerking and manually “inching” it is also a smooth movement. There are absolutely no issues with rocking or shaking, as it feels as solid and stiff as a solid wooden legged table in both the sitting or standing position. In-fact giving the table a good bump only slightly transfers it to the monitors a little, which all three are supported by a Triple Monitor Stand.
All-in-all, a solid buy. It is not the cheapest, but for the money you spend you get a quality solid sit/stand table system that all together is amazing value for what you should be considering for a solid standing desk solution.
